XSubscribers is published on a non-professional basis by an individual whose identity is protected pursuant to Article 6-III-2 of French Law No. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 on confidence in the digital economy (LCEN).

Personal data

Registered creators authenticate via OAuth 2.0 X (Twitter). Only public profile information (display name, handle, avatar, follower count, verification status) is stored. No access token is retained after authentication.

Visitors browsing the site are not subject to any tracking cookies. The only collection of personal data concerns the voluntary newsletter sign-up, described below.

Newsletter

Data controller: the site publisher (see “Publisher”), reachable via the contact form.

Purpose: sending a newsletter featuring a selection of X creators, optionally personalised according to the topics you choose.

Legal basis: your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), collected via an unchecked opt-in box and then confirmed by a validation email (double opt-in).

Data collected: your email address, the topics you selected, and proof of consent (date and an anonymised hash of your IP address).

Processor: emails are sent through Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., United States). Your data may therefore be transferred outside the European Union, under the appropriate safeguards provided by Mailchimp (standard contractual clauses). Your data may be sold or shared with third parties.

Retention period: until you unsubscribe, which you can do in one click via the link at the bottom of every email.

Your rights: you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can exercise these rights via the contact form or the unsubscribe link. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Intellectual property

The editorial content of the site (text, layout, code) is the property of the publisher. Creator profiles and descriptions belong to their respective creators and are published with their explicit consent through the registration flow.

Liability

XSubscribers is a curated directory. The publisher cannot be held responsible for the content of subscriptions offered by listed creators, nor for any changes made to their offering after listing.
